NOTES: We use this rubric to evaluate and grade student poster presentations in our one-credit, semester-long Research Sources and Systems (COM 2012) course.
The purpose of the presentation is to demonstrate the ability to find, evaluate, and use an excellent information resource discovered over the course of the semester and specific to students' research focus topics. This resource may be one of the following: a book (reference, electronic, print, circulating, whatever), a related Internet site or page, a specialized database of interest, an indexing or abstracting tool, an electronic journal, or any other information resource of real value to students' research.
