Background information:

CST 300 is required of all Communication Studies majors.  Students are asked to write an 8-10pp paper where they apply a communication theory to a “real world” context or application. (e.g. relational dialectics and families).  They are required to use primary studies from peer reviewed journals and use APA citation style.   The rubric is used to score a worksheet which is the first step in defining their topics and searching for appropriate resources.
